Try the whole handoff before using real files

  1. Inspect a reusable starting template. Open the sample and choose “Preview sample template.” Green covers the internal-notes area; amber highlights the found name and email. The original page stays visible so you can check coverage.
  2. Check every page you will change. Choose “All pages with matching proportions” and use “Page to inspect” to check both sample pages. Edit areas or finding terms if needed, then “Update preview.” Nothing changes in the document until you choose “Mark matching pages.”
  3. Review and inspect the actual delivery. Review each included page, open “Review & export,” confirm and build the prepared PDF. Use “Inspect exported pages” and download the result. Make sure the experience stays visible and the chosen details are gone.
  4. Prepare a different recipient’s version. Rename the first version “Client review,” then create “Internal review.” New versions start with independent marks and rules; the option to keep marks is off by default. Choose what this authorized recipient should see, review again and export only that version. Switching versions revokes the previous download link.

Reuse the workflow on the next candidate

Save a template deliberately when its fixed areas and rules are useful for your next document. Open it on the next resume, change the finding terms for that candidate and inspect the actual pages before applying. Updating a template is separate from applying it. You can save a new template with a different name to keep the previous one.

Resumes often have different layouts. Matching page proportions do not prove a name, phone number or photo stayed in the same place. Use fixed areas for stable fields, text finding for searchable values, and manual marks for visible details that still need removal. Text finding can cover neighboring text in the same text run; scans need manual checks.

Bring related documents into the same handoff

Add authorized PDFs such as a profile, portfolio or brief, arrange the pages and remove those the recipient does not need. Deliver one combined PDF or a ZIP of prepared PDFs grouped by source. Default output names are numbered; using original source names needs an explicit choice.

A workspace shares original bytes across up to five delivery versions. Each version keeps its own page order, marks, finding rules and review. The current beta supports 30 MB of combined originals, up to 100 pages per version and a 200 MB prepared ZIP.

Keep control of originals and saved work

Documents are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to a document server or AI service. Files and work stay in memory unless you choose “Save on device.” Saved projects contain original, unredacted files and all delivery versions; local browser storage is not encrypted. Use a trusted device and keep originals separately.

Template JSON exports never contain original PDFs, but their names and finding terms may be private. Share them deliberately. Deleting a saved project does not delete separately saved templates or downloaded exports.

What still needs your review?

Forty PDF removes areas you mark. It does not promise automatic detection of every private or identifying detail. Check names, contact details, links, photos, employer context and free-form notes yourself, including details you may want to keep for a particular recipient. Only process and share documents you are authorized to use.

Prepared exports are image-only: they lose searchable text, text selection, accessibility tags, valid digital signatures, links, forms and attachments. They should be checked as the actual exported copy before sharing. Password-protected PDFs and dynamic XFA forms are not supported.
