FIND AND REDACT TEXT
Find across the document.
Review on the page.
Repeated names, email addresses and internal values are easier to prepare together. Text finding creates visible marks that you can check before exporting.
Enter one value per line
Add your PDFs and enter names, phrases or values in “Find & mark text.” For a synthetic example, enter “Alex Morgan” and “alex@example.test,” or try “張小明.” Select “Find email addresses” to mark detected email patterns. Click “Find across all pages.”
Matching is case-insensitive and normalizes common character forms and whitespace. The current beta has synthetic coverage for mixed-font words, phrases, email addresses and Chinese text. Font and producer coverage is limited; check the actual visible result on your file.
Understand the marked areas
The application marks the complete text runs containing a match. Depending on how the PDF was created, this can remove nearby words too. Text split across fonts may produce multiple adjacent marks. Remove an unwanted mark from the list or undo the change, then add a manual area with the coverage you need.
Repeat finding does not intentionally add duplicate identical areas. You can save the current finding rules by name for your next handoff. Saved rules include your entered values and are stored locally without encryption.
Check scanned and special content yourself
Finding uses existing PDF text, not OCR. It may not find letters inside scans, images, outlined text or visible form values. Pages without searchable text are reported for manual checking. Even when a page has some text, parts of it may still be images. Draw areas over the visible details you need to remove.
Do not treat the number of matches as a complete privacy check. Inspect every page, including captions, headers, image labels and the margins. Only information inside marked areas will be covered.
Review, build and inspect
Mark each included page reviewed after checking its contents and marks. Confirm the review, build the prepared PDF and inspect the exported copy. You can also keep separate source documents in one prepared ZIP.
Exports are new image-only PDFs with the marked pixels covered. The output has no searchable text layer and loses text selection, accessibility tags, valid signatures, links, forms and attachments. Your unmodified originals stay on your device. Check the visible copy before sharing it.
